Kristen Reece brings a wide range of skills and experience to her work with Chords for Change.  Her undergraduate degree is a BFA in Interior Design from San Jose State University and has experience working as an Assistant Project Manager for a sustainable design/build firm in Napa.  Before her work in the building industry, she spent seven years with Recreational Equipment, Inc working on a variety of projects, including administrative management and event coordination.

Kristen also has a passion for music and dance, and believes that the healing properties of sound and movement are important in any recovery process.  Her work with Chords for Change includes creative development, public relations and event coordination.  She looks forward to being a part of growing the organization and expanding community awareness of the many benefits that music can bring to those in crises.

Kristen’s other volunteer activities include Marketing for the United States Green Building Council – Redwood Empire Chapter (USGBC-REC) and trail maintenance work with Volunteers for Outdoor California (V-O-Cal).  In her free time she enjoys reading, photography, cooking, hiking, cycling and snowboarding.
