Chords for Change is an organization created to help the disadvantaged find healing and renewed enthusiasm for life through the physical experience of music.  This physical experience is both an emotional journey through one’s past and a spiritual movement into one’s future.

The Chords for Change guitar symbolizes the energy that flows from the body and mind through the instrument and into the soul.  The mandala on the body of the guitar represents the Sacral (Svadhisthana) chakra, the body’s energy center that provides us with courage and strength on a daily basis.  This energy sweeps upward and pulls worldly debris with it, as the guitar serves as a vehicle to guide its eventual release.
